Life: reality or make-believe

New Toy

July 1, 2008 · Leave a Comment

Absolutely nothing happened today. I come in to my office with the birds (because they get up at the butt crack of dawn too) and sit down at my desk.

I think I have attempted to write this blog at least four times today. Every time I began my mind draws a blank and I have to go someplace else.

Actually I don’t think I did any work today. I did figure out and I have been playing with a voice recognition on this computer. It almost feels like I’m on Star Trek. It does take getting used to because it takes the computer a while to understand what I’m saying.

I seem to be in a rut. The kind of rut where all I am is frustrated or upset or angry. Nothing can make me happy. I find myself becoming angry at every little thing.

What am I doing that is causing me these emotions? You see, even now I’m going on and on with nothing to say.

So let’s talk about the political candidates. That always brings out the best in people. Mr. Clark has made some off color remarks concerning John McCain and Obama is going forward with his I am rule the everyman for everyone. I haven’t decided who I’m going to vote for yet but I can’t tell you that I don’t enjoy the path the Obama campaign is headed down.

And what about this group of people promoting Jesus for president? They don’t seem to be backing any candidate and their van runs on and vegetable oil. I really don’t know what to say about them except that I hope that they bring about a better example of who Jesus is than the religious right.
