One holiday has been celebrated. Now the real one can come soon. The craziness of the material stuff is insane. The story of some store employee at Wal Mart getting trampled to death? Who created Black Friday? When did that become the early morning to have the sales? With everyone else appearing before Congress, let’s have that person or their decendents appear. It’s all your fault psycho person.
Thanksgiving was wonderful. We were able to tell my family about the new baby coming. Now that our parents know, it’s time to explain it to the company. (we’re like a family you know) That should happen sometime next week, I think.
Food. Thanksgiving is full of such great food. And don’t tell me about the poor who have no food or the third world country who has nothing. I’m not in the mindset to deal with that at the moment. I want to fester here in this memory of family and food.
Thanksgiving…you go by too fast.

Told my boss last week about the coming baby. Luckily I still have my job! But did I really have worries? No.
And we’re one family down. Just one more family to tell and that will be done in a couple weeks.
What kind of world will this “small mammal” experience? Will it be safer than it is now? Will it be a hell on earth? I suppose we need to do everything we can to guarantee a better world. That means getting off ourselves – our complaints, whining – and physically do something to make this world exceptional.
We owe it to them.

Question: How do you tell your boss about pregnancy? Do you just walk into his office and blurt it out? Or do you stumble over the words, “um…er…uh…”
I think I’m telling my boss today. I think I will do it in a clever way. At least I think it’s clever. We’ll see what happens.
Has anyone been fired because they told their boss?

This afternoon I’ll be traveling with my spouse to a special doctor’s office where we expect to get our first look at our baby. So far, we’ve been able to get a small glimpse (kinda saw the head) and listen to the heartbeat. They baby is still quite small so this trip is going to be extra special because we’ve been told that we’ll see the arms and legs, etc…
It’s amazing. I am so excited. What else can you say that isn’t cliche?
We’ll be telling our families over the Thanksgiving holidays. Friends will probably come later. You can’t successfully hide a pregnancy for too long – people start to notice and ask those nosey questions.
