Why is the Obama administration taking so many shots at a political entertainer?

Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel has repeatedly aimed his guns at the radio personality. And the ammunition is the clever digs that appear to be neutral but are really nasty comments.

And on the same lines – why is a giant political party being driven by a radio personality? Or is it? I think Emanuel and his team would like nothing else than to keep the attention on Rush Limbaugh and leave the focus on him instead of some bigger issues.

We’re talking about the leader of this country (his right-hand man rather) picking verbal fights with a personality in the entertainment field.

This is when we should look up from our ipods and proclaim the freedom to ignore and the freedom to disagree without demonizing your opponent. (For more on demons, see Paranormal Activity)

Let’s keep our sanity about us friends.

Dems Playing Race Card Again!

So let me get this straight, Federal Officials have the authority to deny ownership of an NFL team? I heard Democrats in Congress calling for the denial of Rush Limbaugh to be part owner of the St. Louis Rams.

And their reason?

He’s racist. He does not have the respect for some of the players in the league.

Can we believe that? Can you?

This is coming from the same party who raised a stink over Miss California’s answer to a gay marriage question.

This is getting scary, folks.

I’m seeing the same strategy within the Democratic party: If they disagree with us, they must be racist because they are anti-President Obama.

This is a dangerous road we’re traveling.

If only we could find a candidate who could rally his/her party to be a mix of President Bush & President Obama. Someone who has a thick hide, who can allow free speech without complaining about it being racist; and someone who desires to see true reform and transparency.

Quit calling those who disagree with you racist, it’s insulting.

Attacking Rush Limbaugh

Officials within the Obama administration are attacking radio host Rush Limbaugh as the leader of the GOP and are up in arms against his, “I hope he fails” comment.

It’s incredible how people within our federal government will do whatever they can to make an entertainer (and make no mistake, that is what Mr Limbaugh is) the demon of society.

I want to know where this outcry was when TV host Bill Maher was saying the most awful things about the Bush administration?

Here we have an example of two entertainers saying words against an administration they don’t agree with. The only difference, that I can tell, is that Mr Limbaugh works in radio while Mr Maher works in cable television.

Let’s see some transparency with that!
