This morning I was awake early. (before the sun came up) And after using the bathroom, decided to fall back into bed. Luckily, I was still tired and fell back to sleep.
Ever have that feeling where your eyes are just so heavy you don’t want to open them? Or maybe it feels like you can’t open them? That’s what I was dealing with. I would wake up sporadically and each time my eyes felt like they weighed a ton. They were just too heavy to open.
And for that morning, the feeling of complete surrender to tired eyes, was the best feeling to experience.
I ended up sleeping in until after ten!

I have experienced my first fried computer. A couple days ago the power went off and on at my work thus shutting down my desktop. I have been trying to get it to work since then. Just today I spent almost two hours with a technician trying to figure out a way to bring the computer back to life. I am sad to say our attempts came back negative with the diagnosis of a fried motherboard. This means I’ll be getting a new computer. But it also means, all the files that were on this older computer are lost. This is deeply troubling. We’re talking ocean abyss deep…
Now my brain is hurting, I really don’t smell that great (what does that have to do with anything?) and this just seems to be the perfect climax to such a bizarre week. Who would have guessed that the week I decided to journal online, these crazy days would result?
There’s so much to do. Technology is wonderful when it doesn’t break.
